The programme is actively represented in various Technical Working Groups (TWGs)/Committees, Development Partner Groups (DPGs) and workshops which are important fora to provide ongoing technical support and get updated on developments in the health sector as well as the national response to HIV& AIDS.
The Development Partners Group (DPG) Health is currently chaired by Germany, the Programme Manager of the TGPSH. Other key fora which TGPSH members support coordination are the Joint Annual Health Sector Review (JAHSR) and the biennial AIDS review. Members of TWGs report back on their respective meetings and indicate what issues should be taken up by TGPSH management during the review, see membership of the TWGs.
The recent JAHSR - Health policy Forum on the 3rd November 2011 marked the culmination of a series of consultations, joint field visits, etc with the DPG Health chair presenting a statement from the Development Partners on key policy recommendations which will help to achieve the health sector targets.
